Although, the time that these clips of The Platters were made, racial segregation was still in full swing, and it was right around the time that Rosa Parks took her famous bus ride. This reminder of the past does make me angry (therefore ignoring the rich white folks in the clip) but I try to focus on this very pivotal period of time.
